The .SE country-code top-level domain extension was created in 1986 and given to Sweden. During the first years after its launch, the registration procedure was really restrictive, so a very limited number of domains were acquired. Persons were allowed to register solely one domain under .PP.SE (“pp” stands for “private person”).
