There are two services you need for a functioning website - a domain plus a web hosting plan for it. Whenever you type the domain name in your web browser, you see the content that is uploaded inside the hosting account, but if that domain is not linked to such an account or to an email service, it is parked. Put simply, the domain is registered and you're its owner, but it doesn't have any content of its own. Rather, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” page from the registrar company, or it can be forwarded to some other URL of your choice. The main advantage of parking a domain name is that you can keep it and make certain that nobody else will take it. Meanwhile, it's not going to block a slot for a hosted Internet domain inside your account. You can also park domains if you have a .com, for instance, and you register domain addresses with other extensions such as .net, .org or country-code ones to forward them to the main website in order to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Hosting

You'll be able to park as many domains as you like with each of the hosting plans that we offer. Of course, this feature is offered exclusively for domains registered with us since the service is always provided only by the registrar. In contrast to the majority of service providers, we do not charge anything additional for parking a domain and the process is going to take only a couple of mouse clicks in your Hepsia Control Panel. We have a few parking templates to pick from where you can add custom text. If you choose to host a parked domain address in the future, adding it to your account requires simply a mouse click. Everything needed for the site to start showing up, including setting up a domain folder and setting up DNS records is going to be done automatically by our system. The feature-rich Domain Manager tool will enable you to see a full list of the domains that you've registered through us and you’ll be able to set a filter to see just the parked or just the hosted ones.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Servers

Our semi-dedicated servers don't have a restriction for the number of domains you can park. This feature is available for domain names that are registered through our company and not ones that are only hosted, because the service is always provided only by the registrar. Parking any one of your domains is really easy and takes several mouse clicks with the feature-rich Domain Manager software tool, which you are able to access through your Hepsia website hosting Control Panel. You are going to have a number of parking templates to pick from and you can add custom text to each of them - Under Construction, Parked Domain, For Sale, etcetera. Un-parking a domain name is just as easy and what is more, our system will set up all the necessary records and it will create a folder in the File Manager section automatically, so you'll not have to do a single thing manually.
